Description
Some partnerships are built on business. Others are built on shared values, lasting friendships, and a commitment to serving others.
The Operation 300 x Ohana Surf Shop Collaboration T-Shirt celebrates a special relationship that has impacted countless Gold Star and White Star families over the years. Featuring the iconic Operation 300 AV logo alongside the Ohana name pierced by a trident, this design represents two organizations united by family, faith, adventure, and service.
Located on Hutchinson Island in Stuart, Florida, Ohana Surf Shop has become much more than a community partner. Year after year, their team opens their hearts, their time, and their talents to Operation 300 families by providing surf lessons, equipment, and volunteers during our camps. For many children attending camp, stepping onto a surfboard and catching their first wave becomes a memory they’ll never forget.
The collaboration carries even deeper meaning when you consider the story behind Operation 300. Navy SEAL Aaron Vaughn, whose legacy inspired the founding of Operation 300, had a deep love for the ocean and surfing. The water was one of his happy places—a place of freedom, adventure, and connection. Bringing children to the beach and introducing them to surfing has become a meaningful way to honor that part of Aaron’s life while creating new memories for the families we serve.
At the heart of this shirt is the word Ohana, a Hawaiian term meaning family. It’s a value that perfectly reflects both organizations. At Operation 300, we believe no surviving spouse, child, or family member should ever walk alone. At Ohana Surf Shop, that same spirit of family and community is woven into everything they do.
This shirt is more than a collaboration. It’s a celebration of the people who show up, serve selflessly, and help families heal through friendship, adventure, and the power of community.
Family. Faith. Ocean. Freedom.
Because healing happens when people choose to become family. 🌊🔱🇺🇸
