Registration for 2024 Camp is CLOSED

2024 camps are currently operating on a waiting list as camps are full. Op300 tries its very best to service each family that applies for camp and apologizes for any inconvenience. We are currently looking at how we can add additional dates or programs to give every family the opportunity to participate in some capacity. Thank you for your understanding.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING GUIDELINES:

If your child is 18 years old and has graduated from high school, he or she may only come to a camp prior to September of that year.

Please only apply one time. Applying multiple times could cause an error in the application process.

Although Camps are FULL, you may still apply for camp to be on a waiting list.

A Message to All Gold Star Wives…Since 2012 Operation 300 has been hosting weekend-long mentorship/adventure camps for your Gold Star children. We believe that when a man or woman offers their life for our freedom, the least we can do is care for those left behind. During our camps, we pair your children with a father-aged mentor and do our best to give them a weekend of fun, laughter, and bonding they will never forget. In addition, we bring you, the military widow, to beautiful West Palm Beach, FL for a much-deserved and usually much-needed retreat. We (The founders of Operation 300) ARE a Gold Star family. We honor your sacrifice and would give anything had our paths never been forced to cross. We love you and we pray you will find comfort moving forward beside us.

What to expect:

Gold Star Kids Camps typically run Friday evening – to Sunday Afternoons. Mom (or Dad) will join their children for dinner at Camp Valor on Friday evening with a chance to connect with their child’s mentor. Parents will not stay at Camp Valor over the weekend and will have a chance to connect with other parents of attendees while staying in a hotel in West Palm Beach. (30min from Camp Valor). Camp activities will include camp games, water sports, fishing, sailing, shooting, archery, and more.

Transportation:

Cost of travel and hotel stay for the weekend is covered by Operation 300. Once at camp, all campers will have transportation provided all weekend. Operation 300 will deliver kids to hotel at the end of camp on Sunday. Parents are responsible for transportation once back to the hotel for the weekend. Shuttles are provided by the hotel to get around the surrounding West Palm Beach area. (No need for a rental car)
