A Message to the Brave Spouses of Our Fallen Law Enforcement Heroes

Since 2012, Operation 300 has had the profound honor of hosting weekend-long mentorship and adventure camps for the children of our nation’s fallen military heroes. Founded in loving memory of Navy SEAL Aaron C. Vaughn, a member of SEAL Team Six who was killed in action in 2011, Operation 300 was created by his family to ensure that the legacies of our fallen are never forgotten—and that their children and families are never left behind.

Over the past decade, we have welcomed Gold Star and White Star children to our camps in Stuart, Florida, where they are paired with father-aged mentors for unforgettable weekends filled with adventure, joy, laughter, and meaningful connection. These weekends are designed not only to create cherished memories, but also to help fill a small piece of the void left behind by unimaginable loss.

But our mission is growing.

With immense respect and gratitude, we are now expanding Operation 300 to include a new camp program specifically for the children of fallen law enforcement officers. We recognize the unique and sacred sacrifice your loved ones made while protecting our communities, and we are committed to honoring that sacrifice by standing beside you and your children—just as we have stood with the families of fallen military heroes.

In addition to the children’s camps, we also invite you—the surviving spouse—to join us for a peaceful, restorative retreat in beautiful West Palm Beach, Florida. This time is created especially for you, to give space for rest, reflection, healing, and the knowledge that you are not alone on this journey.

As a Gold Star family ourselves, we understand the pain, the pride, and the path you now walk. We wish with everything in us that our stories had never needed to intersect in this way—but now that they have, we walk forward together, united by honor, love, and remembrance.

You are seen. You are cherished. You are not forgotten.
We honor your sacrifice, and we are here for you—always.

With our deepest love and unwavering support,

– The Operation 300 Family
