Why Veteran's Day?

There is no more meaningful day to gather in support of Operation 300 than Veteran's Day.

The Gold Star Gala is more than an elegant evening at the iconic Mar-a-Lago Club—it is an opportunity to transform gratitude into action. Every ticket purchased, every sponsorship secured, and every dollar raised directly impacts the lives of children, spouses, and parents who continue to carry the weight of sacrifice.

Throughout the evening, guests will experience powerful stories of hope, healing, and resilience while witnessing firsthand how Operation 300 is changing lives through mentorship, camps, retreats, and year-round support—all provided completely free of charge to the families we serve.

This Veterans Day, join us in honoring those who gave everything by standing beside the families they left behind.

While our nation pauses to honor the brave men and women who have worn the uniform, we also remember that for thousands of families across America, the sacrifice did not end when the service ended. For Gold Star, White Star, and Fallen Law Enforcement families, every Veterans Day is a reminder of the loved one whose seat remains empty.

Because while we can never repay their sacrifice, together we can ensure their loved ones are never forgotten.

Founded in honor of Navy SEAL Aaron Vaughn, Operation 300 cares for the families of our nation's fallen military heroes and Fallen Law Enforcement Officers. Through mentorship, camps, retreats, and healing programs, we provide hope, connection, and lifelong support to children, spouses, and parents—all at no cost to the families we serve.

Operation 300 is a registered 501(c)3 not for profit dedicated to caring for the families of our fallen heroes by honoring the legacy of Navy SEAL Aaron Vaughn through adventure camps for Gold Star, White Star, and fallen officer children, healing expeditions for Gold Star fathers, an adopt-a-pet program for grieving families, and nationwide efforts to preserve the memory of those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
