TREASURE COAST - ABACOS RELIEF PROJECT
Sorting center on one of the islands!
Here’s How You Can Help:
1. Donate Funds - Operation 300 has set up a dedicated account to receive tax deductible funds that will be used to purchase supplies, jet fuel and whatever else is needed during this effort. 100% of these funds will go to aid the people of the Bahamas... in particular the outer islands including Green Turtle Cay, Guana Cay, Hopetown, Man-O-War Cay and Elbow Cay
2. Donate Goods - Due to the overwhelming response from our community, we are NOT CURRENTLY receiving goods from the public. If you wish to donate, please use our Amazon wishlist below. We are turning our focus to distributing these items and sending volunteer teams to help with cleanup and rebuilding.
As of 9/11, we’ve collected nearly 8 million pounds of relief items and have transported almost 2 million pounds directly to the affected islands. These items go from your trunk directly to the people in need. NO MIDDLE MEN!
Click Here for our Amazon wishlist - As we visit each island, we learn what item those individuals need most. The wishlist is updated routinely to reflect this accumulation of information. Items purchased from this wishlist are delivered directly to our drop site.
3. Donate Time - We are in need of volunteers to help sort and organize the items in our warehouse and load planes with cargo. Volunteer Hours: 9am-5pm Monday - Friday.
1845 SE Airport Road, Stuart, FL 34996
4. Able Bodies - We are putting together teams of 8-10 people to go to the islands for stints of 3-4 days. These are not sight-seeing tours. This is hard labor clean up. .Please fill out THIS FORM if you are interested in working on one of these teams. Someone will get back to you as soon as possible.
